The Cabin in Pine Lake

was built in 1927 on an island that was surrounded by Cedar Creek.  Visitors would jump off the bridge into the water and ride tire tubes in the creek that surrounded the building. They would escape the summer sun inside the beautiful log cabin. Often while the kids rafted in the waters, the adults would meet inside for lunch or a soda. The building was used to host barndances that entertained the area visitors. In winters, people came in to warm themselves by the beautiful fireplace. Military veterans often held positions on the Clubhouse board of directors, helping to keep the Clubhouse viable for many years.

The founding mission statement read
"...to  promote social welfare amoung its member.  To seek land improvement for the benefit of their members to promote harmony and brotherly feeling amoung all members."

Today, the Pine Lake Park Taxpayers' Improvement Association has been working hard to continue promoting harmony and social welfare.   We host community activities at a nominal fee as well as concert fundraisers, providing a safe drug and alcohol free event for area teens.

We have had antique shows and a coffee house. The area residents and Clubhouse members have used the Clubhouse for their baby showers, bridal showers, weddings, sweet 16 parties and family reunions. The cabin has bathrooms, a pool table, a shuffle board table, a bar and a kitchen. It holds 99 people and we have the tables and chairs to make your party planning easier. The Clubhouse holds a liquor licence and has hosted Superbowl Sunday parties in the past.
THE BAR IS CURRENTLY CLOSED. PENDING THE COMPLETION OF THE RENOVATIONS.
